First Blood, Double Kill, Triple Kill, Ultra Kill, Rampage......... That's all are Killing streaks in DotA and usual to use in mobile phone as a ring tone

• First Blood is an Achievement in DotA if there is first killed heroes in the game, if Hero who got killed kill by the tower/creeps so the achievement will give to the team.

By the same Player (one DotA's player achievements) without pause

• Double Kill is an Achievement in DotA player get a Double Kill (two consecutive kills within four second.
• Triple Kill is an Achievement. It is awarded when the player gets a Triple Kill (three consecutive kills within four seconds of each other).
• Ultra Kill is an Achievement in DotA when the players gets a four consecutive kills within four second.
• Rampage is an achivement given to a player who got five consecutive kills within four second

By the same player with pause

• Killing Spree is an achievement given to a player who got 3 kills without dying.
  
• Dominating is an achievement given to a player who got 4 kills without dying.
• Mega Kill is an achievement given to a player who got 5 kills without dying.
• Unstoppable is an achievement given to a player who got 6 kills without dying.
• Wicked Sick is an achievement given to a player who got 7 kills without dying.
• Godlike is an achievement given to a player who got 9 kills without dying.
• Beyond Godlike is an achievement given to a player who got 10 kills without dying.

When you hear a guy screaming :"The Scourge or the Sentinel are OWNING" that means your team killed 5 heroes without dying.

When your hero dies, you'll respawn in some time and then you'll have to start the whole thing over again, back from the 'Killing Spree'.

DotA Enigma Solo with Roshan

Thinking playing Dota just for kill Roshan, so try it!!!

Enigma
Included in the replay is the fastest timing of which have tried to solo Roshan. It took about 8 tries to be honest, not easy. The mode is -ap and used 900 gold (though the last 2 clarities were not put to use, 1 unspent 1 unnecessary), so actually just 800 gold is enough.

Begin with 600 gold in normal dota, so someone probably needs to buy you 4 clarities. Either that or you have to quickly buy 4 clarities with the gold you get from jungling and get your courier to fetch them. The former is probably better, whoever is playing support could afford to buy 4 clarities, and the gold from your jungling can be used to upgrade crow so you are paying back the support player anyway.

Also jungled to simulate how it could be used in real-time, so in actual fact it could have been faster were to get exp from lane instead. A DD rune would help alot as well but it was not in the replay.

Accounting for the above, speeding up the kill by about 15 seconds or more is totally possible too.

Imagine this being used competitively, just ask for clarities from your teammates, and voila ! 200gold to everyone few mins later !

Fnatic-Melen Pensiun

It's a sad day for the fnatic MSI organization, Romi 'melen' Gunawan has decided to retire from DotA and will be stepping down from the team. He has been apart of the team since day one, and has been a longtime teammate along with RitteR.

While he's mostly known in the global scene for being one of the best support players in the world, his support wasn't just inside the game. He has also earned the reputation as one of the most gentle-hearted and mannered players in the scene.

melen: I have decided to retire from DotA now. It is time for me to focus on my studies and my future. I love my team and love to play with them but I want to continue my degree. Good luck to my team in the future, they will find someone to replace me and I know they will be strong. Thanks also to everyone who has supported me!

Romi claims to have lost passion for playing DotA and desires to continue his studies more carefully. He is currently working on his thesis on management and wants to obtain his bachelor's and possibly master's degree.

With melen stepping down, the team will be looking for a replacement. A new player will be announced soon. We wish melen good luck in his life, and thank him for all his hard work and dedication to the team and to Fnatic.

Peringkat Dunia DotA 2008

Pada Update terakhir di tahun 2008 10 besar tim DotA Dunia, akhirnya muncul beberapa tim dari Asia, karena empat dari enam acara yang di hitung pointnya dilaksanakan di Asia. Terutama penampilan yang sangat mendominansi dari eHome dan Fnatic.

Di kancah Eropa MYM tetap terus memimpin setelah mendapatkan tempat pertama pada DreamHack, event yang memberikan kontribusi terbesar dalam peringat ini, SK menduduki peringkat kedua.

Tim dari Amerika Utara belum menghasilkan pencapaian yang cukup baik, hanya satu tim yang mampu masuk dalam sepuluh besar ini yaitu EG (mereka turun 1 peringkat sejak ESCW).

Sebenarnya peringkat dunia ini dikeluarkan bukan berdasarkan diskriminasi, tetapi berdasarkan beberapa event yang sudah terselenggara, yaitu:

Tujuan dari sistem peringkat:

DotA merupakan pengembangan e-olah raga dan saat ini dalam bentuk tidak memiliki sistem yang didedikasikan untuk mengukur kinerja tim selama jangka panjang.Pemeringkatan Dunia yang tinggi, sistem dimaksudkan untuk mengisi kesenjangan tersebut. Urutan digunakan untuk mengukur konsistensi dari tim berpartisipasi dalam acara mereka dan dapat dimanfaatkan di masa yang akan datang ke acara bibit.

Bagaimana urutan kerja sistem:

Semua profesional tim yang bersaing secara langsung dengan cara yang sudah disetujui (yaitu LAN) game acara akan di peringkat Dunia yang tinggi. Poin diberikan kepada tim udi akhir event.

Kriteria Peringkat Event

A Event : Sebuah event internasional termasuk tiga pemain utama dari semua daerah (Amerika, Asia / Pasifik, dan Eropa) menyesuaikan dengan "Kejuaraan Dunia" acara (misalnya ESWC, WCG). Poin yang diberikan adalah sebagai berikut:
1st: 1000
2nd: 750
3rd: 500,
4th: 250
5/6 th: 100
7/8 th: 50
9th: 25
10th: 16 Poin.

B Event : Suatu event internasional dengan perwakilan dari dua atau tiga daerah yang besar, tetapi karena partisipasi terbatas di seluruh dunia untuk format kendala atau membuka pendaftaran (misalnya Fire & Ice, Dreamhack, SMM): 1 st 500, 2 250, 3 rd 100 , 4 th 50, 5 th -8 th 25.

C Event : Suatu Event yang kuat dengan partisipasi daerah, namun kurang signifikan keberadaan dari luar daerah. (eg ECG, Pan-Am Games, Pan-Asia Games, ASUS): 1 st 150, 2 nd 75, 3 rd 25. (misalnya ECG, Pan Am-Game, Pan-Asia Game, ASUS): 1 st 150, 2 75, 3 rd 25.

Brief History:

Whencompetitive DotA in Indonesia was young, the players of Fnatic DotA were scatteredon different teams. They used to compete locally in LAN cafe's until stumbling upon each other in local competitions. Melen and Ritter were on the same team (Big Magic) and eventually met up with Lakuci who was on team Evolve. BaHaMuT came into the picture later, previously being on Emporium. With the desire to become one of DotA's best teams in the world, they banded together under the XcN organization. After such short success and recognition in the international scene, Fnatic took them under their wing. Since then they have continued strong performances in online tournaments and went on towin three consecutive LAN events in arow.

Kutipan di atas akan sangat pas untuk dikatakan kepada salah satu pemain terbaik XCN, Jefri Suwiryo atau lebih dikenal dengan nama XcN – StamX. Mulai hari ini (13 Agustus 2008) Jefri secara resmi akan mengakhiri karir DotA-nya dengan tim XCN. Sejak beberapa bulan yang lalu niat dari Jefri untuk pensiun dari pentas gaming sudah diutarakan kepada tim manager dan tim manager menolaknya, tetapi tampaknya kali ini tidak dapat seorang pun di tim XCN yang dapat menahannya lebih lama lagi. Alasan utama Jefri untuk tidak melanjutkan kiprahnya bersama tim XCN karena komitmen dan janji Jefri untuk membantu bisnis keluarganya, dan salah satu pemain hero QoP (Queen of Pain) yang sangat legendaris di Indonesia ini sudah menyelesaikan kuliahnya di Universitas Bina Nusantara untuk jurusan Teknologi Informasi, dan mungkin bagi dia sudah saatnya untuk meninggalkan dunia gaming yang telah membesarkan namanya di kancah nasional dan internasional.

Tim XCN sendiri dapat menerima situasi yang sangat sulit ini, disisi lain tim XCN masih sangat membutuhkan seorang stamx untuk kembali mendulang prestasi bersama xcn.trilogy, tetapi disisi lain tim XCN harus menghormati keputusan seseorang yang telah amat berjasa bagi tim XCN.

XcN-St@m-X (Jefri Suwiryo):
Fast farmer, also play support and late hero. In some condition he can be “hero” for XCN team.



XcN-Bahamut (Sugiarto Cahyadi):
Smart, can play in every lane very good, also fast farmer. Usually play late hero but sometimes he play suppory as well.



XcN-Lakuci (Ariyanto):
Last but not least, he is fast farmer in XCN but also can play support as well. Give him some time and he will make 6 slot in your hero loaded with awesome items. Insane farmer.
